Breakfast bar with kitchen pass through above the sink. Electrical wires were moved, vent pipe was rerouted and studs were removed from the non-load bearing wall between the kitchen and living room. Bar was added at 42″ high with a 15″ overhang. Space for 2 to sit comfortably. Lighting was added above the bar with a dimmer. Kitchen cabinets were rotated to accommodate the large opening while still preserving the valuable kitchen storage space. Casing was added around the opening for a finished look.
